Look No Further Than Your Own Closet..
So my 8th grader wanted to get a bag to hold her gym clothes in... no problem right? Oh geez - over 10 stores later - nothing would fit her exact needs/wants.. So we come home and there's a bag she found hanging in her closet.. it was exactly what she wanted......
It's funny how what we are looking for is just hanging around in our closet to be found...
My Deep Thought For The Day...
I've done that. Okay, so not with a gym bag but with so many other items it's not even funny. What's up with that?
ReplyDeleteKelly,
ReplyDeleteI noticed this yesterday when my oldest daughter was cleaning out her closet. She has two brand new Aeropostle shirts with the tags still on them. When I asked what was up, she replied, she didn't like the designs or color. I mentioned you could take them back and exchange them since they are still new and tags in place. She kind of gave me that deer in the headlights look, like she didn't even think that was possible.
By the way, these were gifts from her birthday from friends way back in July. Go figure.

So true, so true. I've found gym bags that I didn't know I had because they are squashed up on the top shelf of the closet!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog, as well, and learning all about adoption. As I have said before on another comment, I don't understand why some have been mean to you about your story, but I suppose some can be judgmental about anything. Keep your chin up and keep writing! I look forward to reading more!
That’s so true in life. We so often go looking for something that’s been right here in our own closet/backyard all the time. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL. Glad I'm not alone. My son didn't want to carry his backback to school because it didn't match his clothes. WHAT?! Needless to say, he purchased his own backpack.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the blog mention. I was just wondering if you needed me to come help you out of that closet? It's been 4 days. Are you stuck? LOL!
ReplyDeleteFunny - Oh Sew - I've been working about 12 - 14 hours a day and my blogging has lessened... I really miss having the time to write.. But I know God is teaching me something in all of this... Love to you... Kelly
